The colours are provided by interlayer colourants between the glass panels and are usually made up from between 1 to 4 interlayers. Frosted/Obscure effects can be provided for design or privacy reasons as well as providing for light transmission and a requirement for specific shades. The interlayer colourants are made up of highly resilient pigments designed to provide years of colour durability even when exposed to direct sunlight.
