Established in 1982 Custom Glass is one of the leading Independent Flat Glass Processors in the United Kingdom manufacturing certified compliant sealed units and toughened safety glass.
Based in Liverpool, Custom Glass continues to grow and develop a portfolio of quality and specialist technology glazed products that both meet and surpass the current industry regulations.
Occupying a 75,000 square foot manufacturing facility Custom Glass has developed their production systems through continued investment backed up by total Customer focus.
Custom Glass has the benefits of five fully automated unit production lines producing in excess of 12,000 insulated glass units a week supported by the latest 6000mm x 3000mm in-house soft coat compatible toughening furnace.
With the recent introduction of Government Regulations concerning energy saving, our ability to manufacture I.G. units with soft coat glasses and warm edge spacer combined with our gas filling ability, allows us to meet and surpass the current guidelines in the most effective way.
The Custom Glass Complex also offers a full and comprehensive range of decorative glasses complimented by a separate glass painting factory, integral venetian blind factory and a dedicated specialist conservatory roof glass factory.
All of Custom Glass products are manufactured under licences BS EN 1279 for sealed units and BS EN 12150 for toughened safety glass whilst operating a quality policy conforming with ISO9001-2000 ensuring both quality products and complete Customer focus.

In 2019, we were the victim of a devastating fire that spread from a nearby pallet business. This was a testing event for any business, but our resilience, strong management and amazing team, not only did we come through it but we rose as an even stronger phoenix from the ashes.
