Custom Glass Integral Venetian Blinds are an advanced tilting and lifting Venetian Blind system encapsulated within the DGU. Designed specifically for domestic and commercial applications they are the ideal choice for Conservatories, Bi-Fold Doors, offices and many other applications such as internal partitioning. The system is zero maintenance and is operated by an external mechanism attached to the internal face of the Window/Door enabling the owner to regulate their own comfort or privacy.
The Blinds are available in manual (cord or slider), mains powered or solar controlled systems with a choice of 10 different colours enhancing the energy efficiency of the sealed unit and therefore making substantial savings on heating bills. The new SL20SV venetian sliding system
The new SL20SV venetian sliding system is an integrated blind allowing optimum control of light and heat gain in a room by means of a cleverly-designed magnetic slider, designed to tilt, raise and lower the slats. The system works as an Up/Down operation i.e. the slider goes up and the blind goes down with a simple, easy to use sliding movement.
The manual SV Sliding System Blinds are made with an automatic levelling device. If the bottom rail becomes out-of-parallel, raise the blinds to the fully open position and then fully lower them – repeat if necessary. The blinds will adjust themselves back to being level.
This system can be applied to doors, windows or French windows, up-and-over, sliding and casement windows.

Like all Custom Slimline models, the SL20SV venetian sliding system has been designed in accordance with the internal blinds standard EN13120 for child safety

The external magnetic slider is treated with the Sanitized®* patented antibacterial
finish, which provides a long-lasting protective function.

The patented warm edge spacer bars and the plastic side profile improve the energy performance of the insulating glass unit

Only one device is used to raise, lower, and tilt the slats. The external slider moves in the opposite direction to the blind operating system.

SL20C Venetian Corded Blind System
The cords will now come around 2/3 of the length of the unit in order to comply with the new EN13120 : 2014 regulation regarding child safety. The calculation for the cord length is 0.66 x (unit height – 60mm)

Important notice for all Custom Blind Systems – Free upgrade to Warm Edge Spacer
Custom Slimline Integral Venetian blind models will be manufactured and supplied incorporating the latest warm edge spacer bar in standard black (RAL 9005). On express request, to be highlighted on your purchase order, the warm edge spacer bar will also be available in grey (RAL 7035) colour.
Made of stainless steel co-extruded with polypropylene and designed in co-operation with TGI, the warm edge spacer bar is able to further enhance the benefits of Custom Slimline Integral Venetian blind systems in terms of increased performance and energy saving, whilst ensuring a perfect hermetic seal:
It improves the thermal insulation of the profile due to its low thermal conductivity whilst ensuring a low Psi value giving a lower level of heat transmission through the units perimeter compared to a standard aluminium spacer bar.
